St. Patrick's proudly supports The Conejo Compassion Coalition efforts.

The Conejo Compassion Coalition came into existence as a response to the December 2004 tsunami in East Asia that killed more than 230,000 people. Parishioners from St Patrick’s reached out to other churches and civic organizations involved in the homeless shelter program to help provide relief to the victims of this catastrophe. The individuals from these communities who came together for this cause formed the nucleus of what eventually became the Conejo Compassion Coalition, a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation, serving the poor around the world.

The Conejo Compassion Coalition mission is to respond with compassion to the poor, the oppressed, and the victims of disasters, and to serve them in ways that promote self-sufficiency and long term, sustainable development.

The Conejo Compassion Coalition vision is of a world where hunger is the exception rather than the rule, where people no longer suffer and die from preventable and treatable diseases, and where poverty no longer robs people and nations of their right to a sustainable lifestyle.
We envision a world where people of every locality and nation are united in the cause of justice for the poor and are committed to work and pray for the time when all peoples may enjoy a seat at the table of life.
