Every service at St. Patrick’s is anchored by the work of the Altar Guild. Members serve the parish by preparing the sacraments and maintaining all the supplies necessary for our worship services. Caring for the sacred vessels, vestments, bread, wine, linens, candles, and our prayer station is a true ministry.

Members of the Altar Guild are also responsible for bringing beautiful decoration and adornment to our worship space. This includes altar flowers for regular Sunday Services and special services such as Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter.

Altar Guild members are organized into teams at St. Pats that serve on a rotating basis. Membership is open to anyone who is willing to be trained in the proper procedures and who wishes to serve with dedication and faith.

Their work ensures that each liturgy, whether it is a regular Sunday, a feast day or a special event, is a meaningful worship experience for the entire congregation. This ministry is ideal for those who have a willing heart, appreciate the beauty in small details, and with a desire to be part of a ministry that has a profound spiritual impact.
