Parish and Worship Ministries
At St. Patrick’s we build community through ministries that strengthen our faith. Being active in ministry is not a task reserved for a few. It’s a lifestyle that starts with a willing heart. We have all received gifts from God. Maybe you have a gift for creativity, organization, teaching, encouraging, leading, or serving with love. If you don’t know what your gifts are, St. Patrick’s can help you discover them.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers
Lay Eucharistic Ministers assist clergy during Holy Communion by serving as ministers of the altar as part of the altar party.

Lectors | Readers
Lectors play a special role in St. Patrick’s worship services, proclaiming the scripture Lessons (Old and New Testaments) and leading the Prayers of the People.

Acolytes
Acolytes play an important role in the worship service, as both a leader and a helper. The Acolyte’s role is to serve – to help in the presentation of the worship service.

Ushers | Greeters
Ushers are typically the first people that visitors and parishioners see at St. Patrick’s church services. As greeters, they bring a friendly spirit and warmth to our celebrations.

Pastoral Care
Pastoral care is a ministry of compassionate listening, support, and spiritual nourishment. And, it is a shared community effort to provide connection and comfort to our fellow parishioners.

Eucharistic Visitors
This pastoral care ministry is a tremendous gift to those in St. Patrick’s church family who bear the weight of isolation that struggles with mobility and health can bring.

Quilt Ministry
Members of the Quilt Ministry prayerfully hand make beautiful quilts, which are given to parishioners who are in need of healing or comfort.

Hospitality | Coffee Hosts
The goal of Hospitality ministry is to create a warm environment where everyone feels encouraged to linger, chat, and enjoy the fellowship that makes St. Patrick’s so special.
