The mission of the St. Patrick’s Quilt Ministry is to provide comfort to members of our Parish Community. Each quilt is made with prayer as a statement of faith in God, and God’s power to love, comfort, strengthen and heal.

As a ministry, our quilters take great care in every quilt made, which are given to members of St. Patrick’s who are in need of healing or comfort. As a gathered church, we pray a congregational blessing that the quilts be used to convey the love of God and asking Him to be with and watch over each recipient. Our hope is that these quilts will be a tangible reminder of God’s love and care for each person who receives one.

For all parishioners and visitors, “Pocket Prayer Quilts” are usually available at the back of the church. All are invited to keep one with you as you go about your day. You can feel a small cross tucked into the quilt square to have with you as a tangible symbol of God’s peace.
