ST. PATRICK’S EPSICOPAL CHURCH
Pastoral Care
Pastoral care is a ministry of compassionate listening, support, and spiritual nourishment. And, it is a shared community effort involving our clergy and designated parishioners who provide connection and comfort to our sisters and brothers at St. Patrick’s.
Our Pastoral Care Ministry offers many blessings to our congregation, including:
Hospital & Homebound Visits: Lay Eucharistic Visitors or clergy regularly visit nursing facilities, private homes and hospitals, often bringing Holy Communion.
Spiritual & Emotional Support: Offering prayer, guidance, and a supportive presence during illness, grief, or major life transitions.
Crisis Response: Clergy are available to offer counseling and support in emergencies, such as the sudden loss of a loved one.
Included as part of St. Patrick’s Pastoral Care Ministry are several notable support opportunities:
Eucharistic Visitors: This pastoral care ministry is a tremendous gift to those in St. Patrick’s church family who bear the weight of isolation that struggles with mobility and health can bring. Learn More.
The Order of St. Patrick: Our OSP ministers provide love and connection in times of need. OSP makes phone calls to those who are ill or shut-in
Helping Hands: Helping Hands provides meals & baked goods to parishioners recovering from illness and other hardships.
Intercessory Prayer Group: There are many in our community who stand in the need of powerful prayer, and we are a prayer-FULL family. The Intercessory Prayer Group prays daily for the long-term needs of those in our parish who need sustained prayers.
The Quilt Ministry: Members of the Quilt Ministry prayerfully hand make beautiful quilts, which are given to parishioners who are in need of healing or comfort. Learn More.
